ENTRY FEES & DEADLINES

If entry is received by November 5, 2024: Entry $109. After November 5, 2024 an additional late entry fee of $60 applies.

Bikini: Novice, Age 35+, Age 49+, Open
Figure: Novice, Age 35+, Open
Men’s Physique: Novice, Age 40+, Open
Men’s Classic Physique: Novice, Open, 40+
Men’s Bodybuilding: Novice, Age 40+, Open
Women’s Wellness: Novice, Age 35+, Open
NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides Teen), within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it).

CLASSES

When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height.  

CROSSOVER ENTRIES

A crossover entry is entering more than one class within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice or 40+ class, if eligible, and elect to crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show. 

AWARDS

The top 5 in each class will receive medals and overall winners Niels Anderson Sculpted awards.

ELIGIBILITY

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership before coming to check in for event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com.
This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines to participate. Prior to registering competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com.

BANNED SUBSTANCES SCREENING METHODS

All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. In addition, all pro qualifying placement winners are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis testing.

CHECK-INS/POLYGRAPH SCREENINGS

By appointment Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday the Week of the event.  All competitors will be contacted two to three weeks before the event by phoen to schedule polygraph.  Competitors living 2 hours or more away are given priority in order by date of entry.  Polygraph results are valid for other OCB shows held within three weeks.  

MUSIC

Details on how to save and where to send music for individual routines will be emailed to call competitors one to two weeks before the event.

ROSTER/CLASSES

A roster with assigned competitor numbers and class breakdowns will be emailed to competitors the Wednesday before the show and will also be posted in the dressing areas the day of the contest.

BACKSTAGE POLICY

For insurance, occupancy, and liability reasons only event staff and competitors are allowed backstage and in the dressing areas.  No exeptions.

COMPETITOR PREP AREA

Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.

STAGE PHOTOGRAPHY COVERAGE

Carlos Cruz of Ichiban Photography is the event photographer.

HAIR & MAKE-UP SERVICES

Provided by exclusive event partner at the Egyptian Theatre.  Competitors that sign up for this service will be contacted and scheduled for their respective times.

GUIDELINES

It is also recommended that coaches and athletes take the time to review the photos of past shows to see how the criterion for each class is applied. It is the combination of the criteria and the application that will help you best prepare your physique for the competition.

SPRAY TANNING

Spray tanning services are available competitors will be contacted by phone to schedule spray tanning times.  Spray tanning will take place at the same facility as check in and polygraph screenings.  Topcoats and touch up the day of the contest will take place at the Egyptian Theatre.

All competitors must pay the entry fee. *If entry is after November 5, 2024 entry is $169. **If you already paid the entry and are adding and paying Crossover or Tanning select $0. TRANSFORMATION is for people that have never competed. Judging is based on measurements, before and after pics, and essay. All of the details will be send to transformation competitors after they have entered.
Select $0 if you do not need to include polygraph testing. This applies ONLY if you have a valid polygraph from another OCB event with in 3 weeks of the Midwest States. TRANSFORMATION DOES NOT HAVE TO POLYGRAPH TEST if only entering transformation.
There is a $99 fee per Crossover. Select the value corresponding to the number of crossover's. Select $0 if you do not want a cross over fee. 1- $99 2- $198
Select $0 if you do not want to include tanning. Tanning will go up to $179 if you do not sign up before November 5, 2024. ****No refunds.***
Hair and Make Up Select $185 for both Hair and Makeup. $110 for Makeup Only. $99 for Hair Only. $0 for none of the services. All services are provided by exclusive hair and make up partner backstage in the dressing area of the venue. ****No refunds.***

I hereby grant the promoters, OCB, any approved magazine, video or entertainment organization and all of their agent’s successors, licensees and assignees, the right to photograph or otherwise reproduce my voice, appearance and name and exhibit, distribute, transmit and/or otherwise exploit any and all media, including without limitation, by means of still photography, motion pictures, radio, television, printing, or any other medium now known or hereafter devised, including audio with respect to any merchandising, advertising, and/or publicity and the right to use my name and information about me in connection with any of the foregoing. No further compensation shall be payable to me at any time in connection therewith. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to obligate, OCB and/or any magazine, video or any approved video entertainment organization to photograph or otherwise reproduce my voice, appearance or name, or to make use of any of the rights granted herein. I also understand that the aforementioned rights may be reassigned at any time without further comment. I agree to abide by the decision of the OCB, and/or contest promoters concerning my participation in an OCB-sanctioned contest pending the results of any form of testing used to detect use of banned substances with OCB.
